For the second time, FLOTUS Michelle Obama is on the cover of US fashion bible, Vogue. This time for the April 2013 cover. And for the second time, she has her amazing arms on display, which we often forget was utterly unheard of for a first lady before the Obamas came into power.
Mrs O wears a Reed Krakoff dress for the issue, taken from her own existing wardrobe, rather than brought in by the styling team. It is familiar, tailored for her and her own choice, which I think is super smart for the first lady.
Michelle is also pictured in a glorious black Michael Kors evening ball skirt, paired with a simple jersey top, inside the halls of the White House, for another beautiful image in the cover story. Very nice.
The cover story was shot by Annie Liebovitz. And in case you have forgotten, here is the original Vogue cover from all those four years ago. How much younger and more innocent everything was back then.
